Weekend 104
This long weekend has been great so far.
:)
It's been a while since I walked down Orchard road on a Friday afternoon, lavishing in the busking sun.
With a cup of Häagen-Dazs Dark chocolate in tow, I was contented.
The simple luxury in life. Heh.
Saturday morning is now filled with the sun and the sea.
And I foresee a very tanned me.
Blessed with very fun-loving rowers, I'm looking forward to the new journey.
:))
I was fortunate to be part of the celebration for B and A's ROM.
And what made it more fun was the appointment as the 2nd Photographer of the day.
Gave me a valid reason to snap whenever, wherever, without getting stared at.
I took a hundreds of them, and still in the mist of editing.
Here's a few prep picture of the bride I love.
And she's really pretty.
:)
I've picked up reading again (after a long hiatus when I was buried with work).
This book is a gem, and I'm so loving it.
Today's a special day and I'm well equipped for the little special one.
More photos awaits.
And I Cant wait!

QH and Bernard's ROM
I LOVE Friday night. It's officially the best day of the week.
And because I'm feeling CHIRPY today, I've decided to stop procrastinating and publish this post.
It's been a while since I feel genuinely happy.
Go Green!
:))
====================
Anyway, this is a super-back dated post taken back in 26 Sep,
where one of my dearest girlfriends got hitched.
To watch them hustle down the aisle as man and wife.
To witness the moment where they took their vows together.
It's a fizzle feeling all together, which beyond words can describe.
It was really nice to share in their joy.
And they made me believe that true love does exist.
:)
A few of my favourites of the day.
Love is all around!

Happily Ever After
If you were the few faithful ones who kept coming back and seeing the same old post,
I'm soooo sorry for being MIA.
To be honest, April hasn't been the easiest of month.
Pretty overwhelmed by things from all over.
Talked to a hell lot of peeps, and almost everyone told me I'm just thinking too much.
About everything. Which could have just burnt my tiny brain a little.
It's May (!!) already.
So it's about time to snap out of my own illusion.
And learn to put certain things down.
Hello Aska, you need to be back soon.
For time waits for no man (or woman).

Post-dated photos from my darling mentor's wedding.
:)
The newly weds:
Selinda & Michael
:)
And that also marked my 1st "virgin" appearance on stage as an emcee.
LOVE my hairdo and makeup that day.
My eyes finally looked bigger. Bleah.

May Selinda and Michael have a blissful marriage ahead
and thanks for letting me to be part of this joyous day!

Of wedding and red wine
Attended a colleague's wedding @ the M hotel and she's definitely a very happy bride.
Bubbly and radiant as usual.
People said that we look alike. What do you think?
=)

Went for another round of drinks at Woods by The Wine Company @ Dempsey Hills after the dinner.
3 tipsy soul. 2 bottles of red. Cheese platter. Ice cream + Brownie.
And several toasts to 60 YEARS of good sex. Ha.

Hi la
I'm still alive, in case you are wondering. It's just that my 4 yr old laptop has decided to cease its service after all these years with yours truly. Which left me quite handicapped for a few days.
Anyhow, this weekend was a blast.
Thanks to my mentor, I had the chance to bum around at a Shangri-la hotel suite for a while.
=)

And a treat at Prego that followed was yum yum!

.
.
.
Then just yesterday, my big brother finally tied the knot. Yay.
A friend was amazed at how I managed to squeeze in a run in between the morning and evening's events. Ha.
Anyway, some pics from the hotel!

My favourite shots of the day! Champagne is love.. no?
The elder sister who looks like the younger sister, if you know what I mean.
And finally, the newly weds.
After so many months of preparation, I'm glad for them that the wedding went well.
So to the brother and sister-in-law (who's now unwinding in Bintan) :
May the best of your past be the worse of your future.
And a toast to the many good years to come!
=)
