21 years of my life

21 years of my life:

When I was born 21 years ago, my parents gave me the name Kaixin cos' I was always smiling while the rest of the newborn were CRYING!!! ( According to my parents, it's true. But I know some of you will be giving me that "YA RITE" look. -_-" )

When I was 1, I was still smiling. HAHHAHAHA...

When I was 3, my thumb went under the knife at TAN TOCK SENG. OUCH!

When I was 5, I went overseas for the first time with my family.

When I was 7, I had my FIRST KISS! TMD. I thought I was going to get pregnant and couldnt sleep for a few night.

When I was 10, I was told to wear specs. I cried, cos' I thought I was going blind!

When I was 12, I finally topped my class for the Prelims. PSLE turned out fine and I went to the school of my choice =)

When I was 13, I went for my first overnight camp in school. I missed my bed. Sth happened but I couldnt remember what! BAH.

When I was 15, I appeared on Newspapers and TV together with my teammates after we respresented Singapore and clinched the Team Gold Award in a International Cyberfair competition.

When I was 16, I did well for the Os but not well enough to get into the JC of my choice. But it turned out to be blessing in disguise =)

When I was 17, I failed my first major exam. I nearly broke now. But thank god for the wonderful bunch of friends that I've found in AJ, I landed on my feet in the end. Ooohh... It was also this year that I lost my wallet, that was a gift from the sister. I cried like no tmr, but was really lucky to get it back in the end.

When I was 18, I had my first love. It was sweet, really. A' levels came and went. It was kinda stressful then.

When I was 19, I worked for the first time in my life. It was fun! Spending my own moolah was even better! A'level results were surprisingly pleasant. Was offered a double degree in NTU Accountancy and also a place in NUS Chem Engine. I chose the latter. (BAD CHOICE..RAH).Made new friends in Uni and life wasnt smooth-sailing as I thought it would be.
Uni turned out to be more stressful than JC and I broke down yet again. First love ended and it took me sometime to mend the broken pieces of the heart.

When I was 20, things started to look brighter. Then I lost my handphone, which was also a gift from sister. I sweared like no tmr, but I wasnt lucky enough to get it back this time. Went overseas for the first time with my friends. The experience was awesome. I want to do it again! Sister FINALLY got married and being her bridemaid was sweet.

21 days before I turn 21, I'm sitting infront of my lappy and penning this down.

I've asked what I wanted for my birthday this year from 3 wonderful bunch of pals.
But seriously, I dunno yet. Hee.
Maybe I should be practical.
I was thinking along the line of:

1. A laptop battery. My lappy's battery is dying. It cant even last for 2 hrs. WAT THE HELL!
2. 1Gb XD-card for my myu Digi cam.
3. Still toying with the idea of getting a Ipod Nano. I think my sister and brother will be glad to sponsor that together with their spouse. Teeheehee
4. ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 7/8! Anyone??

Geez.. I'm running out of ideas already. Oh.. NUM voucher's good as well =D

Oh well, it's time to hit the report again! AZA AZA!!

Housework vs Homework

Finally, I have some breathing space.
Though there are still like 3847384 things for me to catch up with, I think I deserve a rest.

So for a change tonight, I did HOUSEWORK instead of HOMEWORK!
I did the laundry, vaccum the floor, watered the plants and folded a pile of clothes.
Yay...I'm so proud of myself! *beams*

But I know some friends of mine are dubious abt this.
When I told them that I need to housework for a week (cos' my mom mom is not in town), the response was unanimous.

"Eh...You do housework one meh?? "

The TRUTH is... I DO!

When I have time, I will! But then again, I dont even have time for homework these days, how to do housework?!? Hahahaa..

Bah, it's only 9pm but I'm feeling sleepy already!
Time to sleep!!!! Yeah. My weekend starts today!
YAY!!!!!!

Ps: Tmr better be a Hot and Sunny day. I need the clothes to dry. Sigh, it's not easy to be a housewife. Must worry abt the weather somemore. DANG!

Beading Class

Beading is FUN! I'm getting the HANG of it. Teeheehee
So today, together with sister and Mabel, we went for Beading class @ Chinatown.

Ooo.. the shop is filled with beads..

and MORE beads...
We stayed for a good 5 hrs or so there...

It's a nice place to do beading, really. They have like EVERYTHING you need there.
The guy who taught us beading was nice too! Yes, a guy. He's so gentle and meticulous. The sister was saying that it will be good to be his gf cos' he will make all those pretty accessories that you need/want for FREE. Hahahaa....

The guy said I can sell it at ard 25 bucks for the necklace alone you know?? So if anyone wants to buy my FIRST creation, you know where to contact me right? Better get it fast before I become famous. By that time, it will no longer cost u ONLY 25 bucks. HAHAHA.. =P
Anyway, it comes with a pair of matching earrings too! =)

Then after the class, we went for dinner! Yum yum.
Bro-in-law joined us and brought us to this place... I think it's called Food street or sth.

Ooo.. It's been a LONG LONG time since I went Chinatown.
I think I look like one of those tourist there!
Cos' I kept taking pictures. HAHAHA...

Yummy food! *Slurp*

And we went for dessert after that.
I had this Mango-sago-thingi. It's REALLY GOOD!!!!!!!!!

Reached home just in time to catch the Man U match. WOO HOO.. They won again!!!!
What a saturday it is. Love it.

But there's a price to pay.
I still have 1 essay, 1 assignment, 1 lab report to complete and 1 test to study for. BAH!
Can I have 48 72 hours a day?

I, out of curiosity to what it takes to be a BILLIONARE, went through the list for a good hour or so.

FINALLY, I found the answer to the question!

I RANDOMLY clicked on four billionare that I recognised on the list.
And I found sth common among the four of them!!

Cut me some slack

Just a disclaimer.

DO not treat this blog seriously.

I dunno if you guys know that I'm just fooling ard when I go GAGA over some cute guys that come my way. (etc like some Lampard-or-Gerrard-look-alike)

It's just pure entertainment for my dearest friends who read this blog when they are stressed!

And I know my grammar sucks. I proof-read every entry BUT I think it doesnt help sometimes.

Hahaha... I'm quite hopeless, really.

Life's so boring already. Why be so serious, right?
