VERY Random
"WHAT DO PEOPLE THINK OF YOU AT FIRST SIGHT?
YOU ARE MAYBE A BIT AGGRESSIVE
You scare people but you are not mean, you are a good friend once people come to know you..just be a bit more open!"
Yeah. I BITE.
****************************************
12 more hours.
I think I ought to be a bit more excited than I should.

The 501st
3 years ++ since I first started this platform for me to rant.
And this marks the 501st post.
I dont know who's still reading it but am glad that it allows me to stay connected
to friends that matter to me.
:)
Read a book and watched a show recently,
which set me thinking, for quite a bit, for quite a while.
The thing is, I can't exactly pinpoint what's causing the whirlpool in the pea brain.
But I do know:
Things happened, people changed.
It's ok but don't pull the plug too hard, cos' I'm human too.
So to the pals who's there, always, thank you for being you.
And loving me for who I'm.
*************************************************
If you have not already know, come next week this time,
I'm supposed to attract 20 guys instead of 10.
Obviously, it was meant to be a joke which was made by a friend, 700 freaking days ago.
Ironically as it is, I think I might just miss it when it's gone.
Ohwells.

A day in review
The day started with my usual monthly dental visit. However, it turned out to be quite a
traumatizing morning. Because I've got my molar removed SPONTANEOUSLY.
Dentist: "I think your side profile will look better with extraction..."
Me: "Hmm..."
D: " So do you want to do extraction? "
Me: " Ok, extract lo. "
D: "You want to extract today? Or you can come back another day if you are not prepared."
Me: "Eh.. extract today la"
Usually, someone in the correct state of mind (before the extraction) will ask:
"Will it be painful?"
But the first question I asked him was:
"Can I talk after that??"
Hahahahhahahaha.
Here's the aftermath...
And it's not just 1...
.
.
...but 2!
(Picture of teeth is NOT TRUE TO COLOR. It's the lighting, dude)
Super traumatized thereafter. Ha.
.
.
The reason why I asked if I can talk after the extraction is because I'm meeting with the girls and boy at night.
A friend commented that I dont look like I've just got 2 molar extracted in the morning.
But I guessed it's the company eh =)

It was fun doing all the silly poses together.
Spontaneous, we are. =)
Hall 6 DUDE, rem to organize CNY + MJ for your fellow babes eh!
Anyway babes and dude, do get the pictures from me online! The quality on FB is chui.

Tmr marks the 2nd week of school! How exciting!
But I'm still in nua mode. Bless me.
Before I can start reading the necessary notes, I NEED to finish my TVB show.

KTV Debut after braces
LONG WEEKEND PART II
3 weeks after braces, I finally went back to KBOX with the usual suspects minus some old ones with a new addition. Go figure. Oh and Ralf said that I sounded ALMOST like when I was without braces! THAT's a GOOD THING eh?
********
The very nice garypal picked us up in his trusty Nissan and ZOOMED down to KBOX Toa Payoh. A good 5 hours kept us highly entertained. We sang and sang and sang...
... till it's time for some MYU moment. We love how garypal RAP the TaoZhe/Jolin duet so we request him to RAP for us! And NINI recorded it down JUST IN TIME! Just a short one.. BUT it's sooo GOOD (and funny)! YOGI, this is what you missed!
Hahahahahahahaahaha. I hope I dont get slienced by him cos' of this.
He dont usually sing like this. He actually has a voice like Andy Lau. NO KIDDING.
As usual, we had a hard time deciding what to eat after Ktv-ing.
So NINI suggested
Villa Bali, which is somewhere near Ikea.
And off we went (after some INTERNAL STRUGGLE).
Only to find out that they sell FINGER food. No main course. BAH!
Thus, we retreated back to Queensway to have zi cha instead.
What a Feast!!! Yum. And it's cheap! =))
And guess what did we do after dinner?
We went back to Villa Bali, ONLY to find out that there's no screening of soccer.
No screening of EPL on Sat night??! DOUBLE BAH!
Since none of us were in the mood to drink, we went for dessert @ Haagen Dazs instead. Sinful but.. WATEVER. Sweet things make us happy. And my brownie was yummilicious!!
Anyway, SOMEONE commented that I'm like a DETECTIVE in CSI, forever taking pictures
-_-""
I dont usually take UNNECESSARY random photos of my friends, but since he said that, he shall be granted a 400 x 400 pixel area on this space. And he should thank me for this. Right pal??
And a funny convo that happened in the car on the way back home, after our very
skilled (read: not very safe) driver nearly bang into some car/barrier/hump.
Ralf, who's in the passenger seat: "HMMM...I better put on my seat belt."
garypal, our skilled driver, totally DL-ed: "Wahlau, next bus stop I think got bus to your house. I'll drop you there. "
Ralf, salvaging the situation, dragged me and NINI down with him: "EHH see, both of them had their seat belts on too!"
garypal, with the classic: "THE BETTER. Three of you can share cab back."
This got us all rolling in our seats. But we love garypal all the same cos' he still sent each of us back in the end. =P
Sigh...weekends ALWAYS passed sooooo fast.
And it's back to work tmr. Boooo.
But then again, I have next weekend to look forward to again! WHEEHEE.

A Blast!
I was supposed to blog last night but you know, when you get tooooo carried away by
some topic, you tend to forget the time. Hohohohohoho.
Anyhow, yes. The weekends! Did I mention how I LOVEEEE weekends?
Last Saturday was a BLAST. Reached home ard 3++am and my dad was watching the-very-cui England match. I have a feeling that he was waiting for my return cos' he went back to bed after I came home =P
But I have to give credit to my parents for putting their trust in me cos' they don't impose any curfew on me since young. All they asked for is a call or sms, telling them that I'll be home late and I can party till the cow comes home. (but of cos, I don't party till the cow goes moo-moo la.Duh)
So that afternoon was spent pigging out with the BABAs at Bugis's Aijitei.
(For the reason why we are called The BABAs, pls check out yen's blog =P)
That's only the appetizer, mind you.
We then dragged our v lazy asses to Vivo to catch The Pursuit of HappYness.

It's not the normal kind of movie Aska watches but hell ya, it's one of the BEST movies that I've watched this year. If you think your life is full of shit now, go watch this movie. I bet you will come out of the cinema feeling..REBORN =)
But before the late night movie, we went to have our dinner PROPER at Dian Xiao Er.
I ate my first piece of PORK after braces!
Oh btw, I can conquer almost everything now. LIKE everything.
The things I ate for the past few days were MADNESS. Sushi, Prata, PIG organ soup to name a few! And I'm only 1 week into braces. I'm pretty impressed by myself actually. Hahahahha.
A Glutton at heart! Nothing can stop Aska from eating. RAH.
Anyway, presenting the BABAs!
Thanks for the Company.. Babas! I had a lovely night! =)
************
After the movie, I was supposed to meet Yogi and co. for supper at the Bedok 85 market cos' our Dearest Yogi was back in town for the weekend!!
But apparently, it poured like there’s no tmr so the plan was changed to supper @ his house with Bedok 85 Market food, all credit to Yogi's Mum (for driving him out to get the food la. The very lazy worm is taking forever to get his license! ) But gawd… his house is located somewhere in the MAZE of Bedok Terrace. Kudos to NINI and Ralf for their sheer determination and PERSEVERANCE. In Nini’s words, "it's seriously no joke following behind ralf's car". Hohohohoho.
And I had my first bite of noodles after braces too. Man….it was TOUGH.
To conquer that Bak Chor Mee was quite a feat. But like I said before, NOTHING can stop Aska from eating. Muahaahahahahaha.
After supper-ing, we went up to his room to browse through some of the photos he took in HK thus far. Then we came across this picture he took at the wax museum.
Me: WAH...he looks like the real person...He is...hmm..?
Bernard: Eh Mao Ze Dong right!!!
Kakashi: No no.. he is Chen Shuai Bian wat!
Me: No la! He is Deng Xiao Ping!!!
Yogi: .....He is Jiang Ze Ming.. HELLO?
Hahahhahaha.
You cant blame us. It was wee hours into the night. The brains have stopped working.
But at least Ber and I got the country right. Kakashi, Chen Shuai Bian is from Taiwan leh!! Totally off lo!
Before we made our way back through the MAZE of Bedok Terraces, we photowhored abit.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pictures that we took that night! =))
The company was great, the food was yummy. The place was abit OUT of the way though but it's still all good! (cos' I'm not the one driving! Hahaaha)
We cant wait for Yogi to be back for good, cos' he's going to give us some YUMMILIOUS BIG TREAT!
Till then Yogi, we will be MISSING u (and ur treat) !!!!!
=)
P/S: I attempted to PS-ed the Braces away, but it's MA FAN to the max la. And the pictures look damn weird. So I gave up the idea. But thanks to the FLASH of my myu, they dont appear very obvious in the pics =P.
