Phuket 08

After bugging Nini for like 2 days, I managed to get half of the pics from her before MSN decided to die on us.
But it's all good after combining with those I took.
There are 15 sets altogether so I guess it will take sometime to load.
Took me a day to get it done and how I miss serious photoshopping.

And I think it's about time to take up photography too.
But before that, I need to save AGAIN to get a decent cammie.
Oh well, why cant moolahs just drop from the sky huh?

Alrighto time for VISUALS.
It's going to be a long long entry.

*************************************

Reached Phuket around noon and took the Phi Phi cruiser to Phi Phi Island.
Banyan Villa was better than expected. Solid bed and very clean toilet.
There's even a pool beside our rooms.
BUT there's like zillions of mosquitoes breeding in Phi Phi.

After settling our luggage, we explored around and went to Phi Phi Viewpoint.
And me, being the piece of meat, was panting like I've just finished climbing the Himalayas.

The next day saw us joining the day tour around Phi Phi.
We snorkeled, kayaked, SWAM and walked bare footed to reach
Maya Bay, where our tofu-man got cut along the way. Haha.

Photobucket

But it's all worth the cuts.
Maya Bay looks very photoshopped but it's not.
Lovely little park.

And here's my FAVOURITE set.
From the beaches. Went to one of the beaches before setting off for the tour.
We sat on the PINK and yellow banana boat, where we got threw off 3762 times into the
salty seawater. Bleah.

Photobucket

No pictures of food cos' we were too hungry to take. Haha.
Green curry! Tom Yum! Phai Thai! And a whole lot of seafood.
YUM!

************************
We came back to Phuket on the third day and was surprised that the resort that we booked
was quite atas. Haha. So we had an atas dinner too, at their Japanese restaurant.
Sashimi. Sha bu Sha bu. Udon x 4. Assorted sushi x 1.
Had drinks at their lounge before calling it a day.
This, my friend, is what we called a HOLIDAY. Haha.

Next morning, we set off for another tour with Anda Adventure and
it's THE highlight of the whole trip IMO.
5 activities in a day. Coolness.
For a start, there's a visit to the monkey cave with 1000000 monkeys in there.

Photobucket

Then there's elephant trekking where Nini vows she will never ride on an elephant again.
Ho!
Photobucket

After which, we trekked through the jungle to absail along the waterfall.
But due to the weather conditions, only garypal completed it.
And our tofu-man yogi could not be more glad. HELP MAN. HA.
Check out the waterfall though. It's pretty scary.

Photobucket
We water rafted ...
Photobucket
And flew like a fox!

Walked the wire looks easy BUT it's not.
It just doesn't seem to end when you are up there on the wire.
Nevertheless, it was a great experience and
I'm glad that the piece of meat in me did not fall off the wire. Ha.
.
.
.

The last day saw us wandered around Phuket aimlessly. HA.
Caught Ironman in one of their cinemas the night before at Jungceylon.
Walked around their Central (a shopping centre @ Phuket town) and realised it's our Takashimaya in disguised.
So off we went to Go-kart instead.

Photobucket

We had A LOT of time to spare before having our final dinner in Phuket (SEAFOOD YUMMY!) so we played some soccer on their beach and caught the sunset, which was freaking amazing.
I hope Taiwan's one will be just as good! Heh.

And that pretty much sums up our Phuket getaway.
=)
Not to forget we caught the Man United vs Wigan match over there, where ManU
was crowned the champion AGAIN. Woot. But with Chelsea/Liverpool fan around,
poor me did not get to watch the trophy presentation. Geez.

OK that's alll, mates.
Till Taiwan! Wooot.
