Election 2006

So it came and went!
And it's back to square one yet again. (If you get what I mean)

ANYHOW, it was fun to be part of the crowd that gathered ard the estate to welcome BACK the incumbent MP.

I guessed most of you were either switching between channel 8 or CNA , or MSN-ing/Sms-ing when the results were being announced huh?

The brother, gf and me went down to join the crowd right after our SMC result was announced.

Keys... CHECK.
Camera...CHECK.
Handphone...CHECK.

And off we go!

That's alot of ppl ....Policemen took their positions. Woot.
Then there's this group of kids standing infront of us.
Wah piang eh.. they were more EXCITED than me can?

See... they even had their WHISTLE ready. This fatty boy in yellow was damn funny.

Fattyboy (to his friends) : "Eh just now ar... when they announced Chiam won ar... wah I can hear ppl shouting so loudly man. I oso join in! SHIOK AR. Faster called Felix come down and join us leh!! "

-_-""

Sorry but I really gave him that face and I think his dad saw me doing it.
HAHAHAHAHA...
Pls la...what's there for him to SHIOK abt? 5 years down the road, HE STILL CANT VOTE WHAT. HAHAHAHAHA...

UNLIKE ME! Hur hur hur.........

Anyway after 30 mins or so.....
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

THE incumbent MP was finally here! (Wait until I seh liao lo)

Everyone chionged. Me included. Hahahaa.. for once the road belonged to ME.. (okie and the others......)

Then ppl gathered ard the Coffeeshop for his THANK YOU SPEECH which I din manage to catch. Why? Because they din give him a mircophone to speak. Neither were there loudspeaker. Oh well.. oh well..... Talk abt having funds for ungrading.. *roll eyes*

But I heard one auntie shouting: "MONEY CANNOT BUY BACK PP"
And everyone clapped and cheered.

I laughed out LOUD. HA HA HA HA HA.
Pardon me. I was glad I came back in one piece.

So that's HIM on the lorry.

Close and upfront with HIS residents.

The brother and gf followed him back to his office while I headed back home ard 2(because myu died on me)

What an experience it was.

Ps: Anyway, I thought Mr Brown was quite funny on his Polling day entry.
"At night, when we were watching the telly and they announced Chiam had retained his seat in Potong Pasir, we could hear cheers from the rest of our block. Strange, considering this is not Potong Pasir."
