To the Zoo!

Revisited the zoo with the girls after 6 freaking years.
And how we have aged!!

Looking back at the picture taken 6 years ago, I guess a lot of things were simpler back then.

Am really glad that we still make an effort to meet up monthly despite everyone's busy schedule.
:)

Anyway, VERY Random pictures I took from the zoo.

Nobody but you!

KKS posted this on Yogi's blog and he thinks that the girl reminds him of ME!
Oh man, I had a good laugh after watching it.
Hope it will crack you up a little too.

Belated Birthday

It's been a while since I met up Yogi and pals.
And I'm super guilty for being the factor that our meet-up gets postponed or canceled.

Anyway, Yogi and Ralf were very sweet to get us a cake for our belated birthday.

Photobucket

It was YUM but Sinful! We each ate a quarter of it. Gah.
I can so feel my tummy growing.

Photobucket

I really miss the guys and the times in Uni (minus the exams and projects, of cos).
And the mindless fooling around.

They love Domokun too!
(Ok, I made them to take pictures with him. Bleah)

Photobucket

Yogi never change his spots.
As funny as EVER.

One step at a time

In a perfect world,
Everything would always go right.
There would be no disappointments or trials
And life would be filled with only sweet, warm and fuzzy feelings.

But how would we know
if things were good if we had no comparison?
Would we recognize the blessings in our lives
without having the opposite to compare them to?
Without the darkness
Would we appreciate the light?

Seems to me that if we want rainbows,
We gotta have rain.
The trick is to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps
And go out and look for puddles to play in.

Recognize the tempest for what it is

And train ourselves to look for the good in every situation
By overcoming our adversity, we find the joy in everything.

-Suzy Toronto-

It's good to have pals who's always there, injecting some very much needed positive vibes.

Quote which I really like, from a new-found friend.

On looking things from another perspective:

Just like composing a picture,
it might be different if you turn your lens or adjust your aperture in another way.
However, the most important thing is to realize that you compose your own picture, not anything or anyone else.

So I'm going to learn, to take one step at a time.
Even if it's just a tiny little step forward.

:)

Happily Ever After

If you were the few faithful ones who kept coming back and seeing the same old post,
I'm soooo sorry for being MIA.

To be honest, April hasn't been the easiest of month.
Pretty overwhelmed by things from all over.

Talked to a hell lot of peeps, and almost everyone told me I'm just thinking too much.
About everything. Which could have just burnt my tiny brain a little.

It's May (!!) already.
So it's about time to snap out of my own illusion.
And learn to put certain things down.

Hello Aska, you need to be back soon.
For time waits for no man (or woman).
