Glory Man United!
Had dinner @ New York New York with LY yesterday and their Long Island salmon is still as yummy! So Aska is happy.

After which, we went to catch the Man United vs Everton match @ Harry's.
And what a match it was!
It's not everyday you can witness a Man U comeback-from-behind-performance alright.
So because of what I witnessed last night, I'm now toying with the idea of watching their 2nd leg against AC despite there's work the next day. Hmmmm..

Today marks the first tightening session for the braces, which is on for 1 month and 10 days ONLY! (Gawdd...It feels like forever)
After which, hours were spent at Kimage (Plaza Sing) mending my-very-long-and-messy-hair.
But 4 hours later, I emerged with the same long hair, albeit NEATER because Ricky-my-3-years-old-stylist is on re-service and the stand-in stylist wasnt very keen to cut my hair for me because:
1) He claims that HE LOVES my current hair length.
(which, in my opinion, is as long as a giraffe's NECK! Rah.)
2) He thinks that most girls will ADORE my LONG plus BLACK shiny hair.
(BUT why would I want GIRLS to adore them?? Hello...I like GUYS!!)
3) He's afraid that I might not like the way he cuts them and went on saying how LUCKY Ricky is to have a LOYAL customer like me to stick by him for 3 years.
So I should wait for him to be back if I want to cut my v v v long hair.

Anyway, I think there's this very stylo stylist (with a GOATEE! and TALL) by the name of Steven there.

Ters' Night Out
YAY...the weekend is here again!And what's weekend without yummilious foooooood rite?
Visited Vil'age with the Ters and had a SPREAD.
No dish by dish pic cos' there's just too many dishes.
And I dont want to scare my parents with my constant FLASHING at the food. BURPS.
Then we went to Brother Ter's newly renovated home.
Very Designer-Zen indeed.
And you have to check out their sofa.
It's damn cool and the folks are sure enjoying it.
And I think my dad just stayed in that position the WHOLE night. Ha.
And here's my favourite part. The place for food!
I love the clock (the one in RED if you are wondering), though I reckon it will be quite a feat to figure out what time it is. Hahaha.
Oh and the clubbing lights that's equivalent to the present salary I'm drawing monthly.
No prize for guessing who chose that. HOHOHOHO.
And around the corner...
The bedroom and kitchen's not fully furnished yet. So till later .

3 out of 3 - Return to The Cannery
The Babas sure knows how to eat.
We went to fin Seafood Cafe @ Marina Square the other day.
Check out their food!
I had SNAPPER fish instead of my usual salmon.. because the waiter made a BLUNDER.

Hoot!
Tutoring someone is tough.Finding the way to tutor someone is EVEN tougher.
Especially so for ASKA the no-direction-sense-and-lazy-photoshop-mama.
But I'm blessed to have a handful of helpful-friends-with-sense-of-direction around me.

BAH! I dunno why SBS has to go round in circles. Seriously.
Then I went to the workplace and whined to the nearest.
" Wahlau.. you know SBS ar.. yadaydayda... 17 stops.. yadayada.. Cab takes 2 mins.. yadayaday...." coupled with the perpetual cycles of "HAO LEI", "HAO ER", "HAO XIAN" etc for 8.5 hours x 2 Days.
I think even Superman cannot tahan my whinings, let alone Batman.
And so being the very nice neighbour that he already is, he printed the MAP + stop by stop guide to the destination via the SBS website to stop the chatterbox from making unnecessary noise.
WOOT.
And I reached my destination in one piece! THANK UUUUUUUUUU!
SHIT.. sometimes I feel that I'm too lazy for my own good. GAH.

OH MAN.I'm 22 years and 1 day old today.
And I'm going to blog abt what happened on the day that I was 21 years and 363 days old.
Stop rolling your eyes.. people. I am factually correct. RAH.
Anyway, afternoon was spent at NINI's house.. nua-ing away.
The very nice ASKA treated the nua-ers some yummy pizza.
NINI had a hard time ordering, cos she couldnt decide if she should order for 4 ppl or 6.
Because SOMEONE eats like a PIG. (And of cos I am not that SOMEONE. DUH. I wouldnt call myself a pig, WOULD I??)
Tell me you are hungry NOW! Hahahaha.
And the Nua-ers.....
Then we played POKER.
I cant BELIEVE MY LUCK.
When there was no forfeit, I won ALMOST every game.
When a stupid forfeit was introduced, I lost ALMOST every game, with NINI losing the rest.
And the forfeit was: The loser has to have their photo taken and it will be posted on ASKA's blog!
Actually, this was a trap for Ralf and Garypal, set by me (since I was winning, you see?)
BUT tmd. Talk abt KARMA.
I lost 6 out of 10 times.
NINI lost 4.

Birthday Treats
By now, you should have already known that Aska is a glutton!Teheheheh
And so for my birthday (which I can FINALLY celebrate after 3 freaking years with no exams!), I got 2 yummy treats in 2 days, no less!

My very cute neighbours at work said that the best present for my birthday is to give me a BIG BIG TREAT. YUM. And we headed down to Ajitei @ Bugis to fill our very EMPTY stomach after work yesterday! =D We ordered LOTS OF STUFF. Man, looking at them now makes me droool......

Ok.. My lappie decided to commit suicide after I gave it a night off yesterday.I bet it likes to work its ass off, and it's not used to having some time off to rest.

Totally Random
As you grow older each day, you learn something new every other day.And Mr Batman introduced New Age Music to aku today.
It's very calm and smoothing. I reckon it would be great to have them on repeat mode on my itunes while I snuggle up in bed with a good read. Awwww...Simple pleasures in life =)
I am so going to do that right after drafting this post. And the reason why I'm drafting this post is because my ipod is still CHARGING via my lappie's USP PORT and I cant shut off my laptop. Grrr..
And that leads to the NEXT important point. Can someone get me the IPOD NANO CHARGER?? I realised it's far more important than any other things that I've listed so far on the I wish...I wish list! I just want to freaking charge my nano with my laptop shut off!! Rahhhh.

Secret Affair
LONG WEEKEND PART IIIMet the Babas for the movie, Number 23, which I'll talk abt in another post COS' IT'S EEERIE . Yikkkees..
Anyhow, Baba1 brought us to chill at Secret Garden after dinner and I totally adore the place!
I suspect that we are actually paying for the ambience rather than the food/dessert. Hohoho.

KTV Debut after braces
LONG WEEKEND PART II3 weeks after braces, I finally went back to KBOX with the usual suspects minus some old ones with a new addition. Go figure. Oh and Ralf said that I sounded ALMOST like when I was without braces! THAT's a GOOD THING eh?

The very nice garypal picked us up in his trusty Nissan and ZOOMED down to KBOX Toa Payoh. A good 5 hours kept us highly entertained. We sang and sang and sang...
... till it's time for some MYU moment. We love how garypal RAP the TaoZhe/Jolin duet so we request him to RAP for us! And NINI recorded it down JUST IN TIME! Just a short one.. BUT it's sooo GOOD (and funny)! YOGI, this is what you missed!
Hahahahahahahaahaha. I hope I dont get slienced by him cos' of this.
He dont usually sing like this. He actually has a voice like Andy Lau. NO KIDDING.
As usual, we had a hard time deciding what to eat after Ktv-ing.
So NINI suggested Villa Bali, which is somewhere near Ikea.
And off we went (after some INTERNAL STRUGGLE).
Only to find out that they sell FINGER food. No main course. BAH!
Thus, we retreated back to Queensway to have zi cha instead.
What a Feast!!! Yum. And it's cheap! =))
And guess what did we do after dinner?
We went back to Villa Bali, ONLY to find out that there's no screening of soccer.
No screening of EPL on Sat night??! DOUBLE BAH!
Since none of us were in the mood to drink, we went for dessert @ Haagen Dazs instead. Sinful but.. WATEVER. Sweet things make us happy. And my brownie was yummilicious!!
Anyway, SOMEONE commented that I'm like a DETECTIVE in CSI, forever taking pictures

And a funny convo that happened in the car on the way back home, after our very skilled (read: not very safe) driver nearly bang into some car/barrier/hump.

This got us all rolling in our seats. But we love garypal all the same cos' he still sent each of us back in the end. =P

So before heading for our beers, we ate at Waraku restaurant @ The Central.No prize for guessing what I had. Ha.
Jap restaurant = Aska and her salmon, without fail. Hohohoho.
Anyway, the VAST difference in sizes of their food tickles me.
That's a MINI chicken teriyaki vs a REGULAR Salmon Udon.
And our dearest Qh took the LONGEST TIME ever to finish her plate of ermm... noodles.
(Hahaha I really cant recall the name of her dish, hence it's called SOME NOODLE. I bet it's not really nice since she took sooooo long to finish them =P, though she INSISTS it's nice. Ha)
After filling our stomach, we went pub-hunting.
Kandi bar to Fashion Bar to Pump Room to Kandi Bar (AGAIN).
We tot we saw The Clinic coming but luckily we found HIGHLANDER-the place we call HOME!!
It's a good place to chill if you dont mind 2-CUTE-australian-singing-their-hearts-out in the background while you do your catching up. Ha.
Oh did I mention that all of us dressed like the way we should that night?
Tehehehe.. killer heels, classic clutch and LEGGINGS! Hahahahaha.
And the ride home courtesy of Qh's boy put a sweet ending to the night of fun.
